Every summer, Bleacher Report takes over Las Vegas during NBA Summer League to celebrate the start of the season with B/R Jump-Off. Taking over Brooklyn Bowl on the Las Vegas Strip, Jump-Off provided the patrons of Vegas the opportunity to experience the start of the NBA season like never before. From your favorite YouTubers to money machines and a performance by A Boogie wit da Hoodie that tore the house down, B/R and House of Highlights showcased how the season never stops.

cOURT rOYALTY

Jump-Off brought the heat with nonstop action on the custom-built basketball court within BK Bowl. With guests fighting for a view of the action, B/R Squad members held down the main event, a highly competitive five-team 3-on-3 influencer tournament.

Bdotadot5

Bdotadot5 is a comedian best known for his parodies of popular basketball players. He is one of the most followed basketball parody comedians on social media.

Maxisnicee

MaxIsNicee is a viral sensation who started his social media fandom by mimicking famous basketball stars. With his large, influential following, he has transformed himself into a brand that pairs sport with comedy.

Crissa Jackson

Crissa Jackson is a social media star and the 13th woman to play for the Harlem Globetrotters.. With over 900K social media followers, she is one of the most widely known female trick shooters.

COURT ACTION

In addition to the 3-on-3 tournament, Jump-Off featured show-stopping action on the court. The State Farm Dunk Contest, hosted by B/R’s very own Taylor Rooks, brought together dunkers Michael Purdie, Jonathan Clark and Bionic Brooks to throw down never-before-seen dunks in Las Vegas. House of Highlights hosted the ultimate game of H.O.R.S.E. with MarcelasHoward competing against New Orleans Pelicans player Jaxson Hayes, taking the famous childhood game to new levels. And once the court was instantaneously converted into our stage, Bumble brought in the L.A. Clippers dance team to lead into the highlight of the night: an exclusive A Boogie wit da Hoodie concert.

The House of Highlights Arcade was the ultimate way for fans to experience HoH IRL. Designed with various exciting gaming, content and shareable experiences throughout, the House of Highlights Arcade featured fan favorite arcade games, a money machine to win HoH Bucks, a custom ice cream sundae bar, a live broadcast of the HoH Twitter show and TONS of prizes for fans.

BESPOKE Partnerships

As with all Bleacher Report events, Jump-Off is free and open to the public, providing our brand partners access to an inclusive experience for consumers when game tickets, dinner reservations and Las Vegas shows are less accessible and harder to come by.

State Farm

State Farm hosted the Dunk Contest, which featured one-of-a-kind dunks and top influencer talent. Upstairs, their “Take Your Shot” activation took guests through a photo journey of the major moments of an elite basketball player’s career.

JCPENNeY

Lined with photos of past NBA draftees wearing their custom suits on draft day, the JCPenney Red Carpet highlighted key moments throughout draft years. Adjacent to the red carpet was the “JCP Style Lounge,” which encouraged guests to relax and enjoy an exclusive photo opportunity with light bites and cocktails.

Caesars

Leveraging their home-court advantage, Caesars capitalized on the opportunity to promote their Caesars Rewards program. They took over the upstairs bar and lounges, which acted as a space exclusively for players and influencers.

Bumble

Serving as the official social networking app of Jump-Off, Bumble owned the VIP Lounge and gave fans the opportunity to go on a dream bowling date after downloading the app. Guests were able to sign up on site to bowl with their friends or to be matched with a prospective partner.

Adidas

Adidas partnered with B/R on the House of Highlights Arcade to promote Donovan Mitchell’s first signature shoe, the D.O.N. Fans could play pop-a-shot and “slots” or try their hand at the money hurricane in order to go home with a new pair of kicks.

Jack daniel's

As the official whiskey partner of Jump-Off, Jack Daniel’s took over one of the main bars downstairs at the event. Guests aged 21+ were able to get their favorite Jack Daniel’s cocktails gratis as they made their way to the court and other activities throughout Brooklyn Bowl.

As the official beer of B/R Jump-Off, Coors Light promoted the "Coldest Moments" in the NBA by taking over multiple areas of the venue over the course of the daylong event. Coors Light owned the entrance with their signature ice cold mountain imagery creating a 50-foot-plus brand moment up the staircase.

Adjacent to the custom-branded bar, Coors Light and B/R partnered to bring the Coldest Moments to life by creating a custom basketball-themed ice sculpture and “throne” that allowed guests to snap photos and rack up IG likes.

HIGHLIGHTS

Thousands of fans turned up at Jump-Off, making it one of Summer League’s most popular events. Through B/R and HoH platforms, and with the help of our Influencers, the social conversation around the event was nonstop.
